Choose suitable support for movement and combat.
Mounts and companions add specific functions or bonuses. Some are tied to a class, while others are equipment variants that several character types can use.
Check each companion's requirements, condition and upkeep. A similar visual model does not necessarily mean the same bonuses, and attack-oriented and defense-oriented variants serve different goals.
