Quick start
Install in four steps
Follow these steps for a clean installation and the best game experience.
Download the client
Use an official mirror below to install or update EternalMU.
Extract
Extract the archive into a new folder such as C:\Games\EternalMU.
Allow
Add the EternalMU folder to your antivirus exclusions if game files are quarantined.
Launch
Run the launcher as administrator, wait for updates and press Play.

Common problems
Fast solutions for download, installation, launcher and connection errors.
Could not connect to server / Connection failed
Close the game, run the launcher as administrator and let it finish every update. Verify that Windows Firewall allows the launcher and game executable. Restart your router if the connection remains blocked.
Failed to download launcher or play.exe
Your antivirus may have quarantined a game file. Restore the file, add the complete EternalMU folder to the exclusion list and run the launcher again as administrator.
Timeout while communicating with server
Check your internet connection, disable VPN or proxy software temporarily, restart the launcher and try again. A busy patch server may require a short wait.
Missing DLL / resource file error
Install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables and DirectX runtime. If the file was removed by antivirus software, restore it before patching the client again.
The launcher opens, but the game does not start
Move the client outside Program Files, for example to C:\Games\EternalMU. Disable compatibility mode, run as administrator and check that your graphics driver is updated.
Black screen, low FPS or graphic problems
Update your graphics driver, close overlay applications and select the dedicated GPU for the game in Windows Graphics Settings. Start with lower resolution settings if necessary.
