Magic Gladiator has access to weapons and skills from different paths. Physical and magical builds have distinct requirements and priorities, even though they belong to the same class.
Select your main skill first, then choose a weapon and attribute allocation that support it. Splitting points without a plan can create a character that meets many requirements but excels in few situations.
Keep in mind in game
Decide which attack type will be your main source of damage.
Compare weapon bonuses with the type of skill you use.
Keep enough durability for the range at which you fight.
